Dome Seals are suitable for bottling, pickling, preserving, water bathing and pressure canning of food in glass preserving jars and are generally recommended for a one-time use only (please recycle your used domes). When the dome on the top has sucked in you can be sure that the jar is sealed. It should be noted that GoodLife Domes are thicker than others and they generally don’t ‘ping’ when sealing.
